The Courier Community Spirit Awards 2014 were a resounding community success.
Charities, individuals, enterprises and schools who achieve fantastic work and make a real difference to the lives of many in the borough and wider, came together at Bertie’s @ La Cachette to celebrate the work of one another in the annual awards evening.
Courier editor John Kenealy said: “Thank you to all of our sponsors who make the night possible. Thanks to all those who made the nominations and to all those who have attended this evening.
“We love to hear about the fantastic work you do and so do our readers who back your causes so generously.”
The awards evening was presented by BBC breakfast presenter Clare Frisby who shared insights into each charity, school, individual or enterprise which moved the audience with the wonderful work they do.
The black tie and three-course dinner was enjoyed by all those who attended.
