Cooking School up for White Rose gong

The Cooking School at Dean Clough has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious White Rose Awards for Tourism for 2012 with Welcome to Yorkshire.

The theme for this years’ awards is ‘Night of a Thousand Stars’ - apt for The Cooking School which since opening in 2009, has welcomed stars such as Rosemary Shrager, James Martin and Gino D’Acampo through its doors.

The White Rose Awards recognise the very best in Yorkshire tourism and are the biggest awards of their type in the country. The Cooking School is a finalist in the ‘Taste of Yorkshire’, a brand new category for 2012.

Director of The Cooking School, Matthew Benson-Smith comments “This is a fantastic accolade for The Cooking School and we are really excited about representing West Yorkshire in the White Rose Awards for Tourism”.
