Copley Cricket Club are hoping to knock people for six with a Food and Music Festival this weekend.
Organiser Alasdair Nunn said: “It should be a fantastic event.
“The club has gone through quite a big transformation over the last 18 months or so.
“The idea is to showcase locally produced foods.
“Hopefully it will help raise funds for the cricket club at the same time.
“We’ve also booked two local musicians for the event - Jess Tristan and Jake Smallbones - both of whom are really talented.
“There’ll also be lots of craft stalls and and food stalls from local businesses like the Porkery, Hepworth Deli and Salts Catering.”
There will also be stalls from the Noisette Bakehouse, Mile Street Fine Cheeses, Riverford Organic Veg and Hummingbird Preserves.
The event takes place at Copley Cricket Club on August 25, starting at 11am until 10pm. Entry is free.
