COUNCILLORS met with locals to discuss the Copley Valley regeneration plans.
A planning application was submitted on February 28 and ward councillors Stephen Gow (Lib Dem), Pauline Nash (Lib Dem) and John Hardy, (Con), answered questions on the plans.
Concerns were raised at the ward forum meeting over the cost to the area should the plans fall through and whether money will be redistributed to help the local area.
Councillors and council officials said they would look into the queries.
All letters of objection or support need to be received by the council by April 1.
Other issues on the forum agenda included an update from police on crime in the area and how to better publicise the forums.
