Appeal over two reports of fracases outside Halifax primary school

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to two alleged fracases outside a Halifax primary school.

Officers were called to Warley Road, outside the school, to a report of a 23-year-old man in a vehicle shouting and swearing at a 30-year-old woman in another vehicle.

A man has been arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries in connection with the allegation.

At around the same time, police also received a report of a 30-year-old man in another vehicle verbally abusing a 42-year-old woman in a different vehicle.

The man was said to have driven off towards Essex Street, continuing to shout and make threats towards the victim’s husband.

A man has been arrested in connection with this allegation and released on bail pending further inquiries.
