Bid to drag woman from car

Police are appealing for witnesses after three women tried to drag another woman from her car.

The 52-year-old victim was sat in her car opposite Pearl Supermarket on Queen’s Road in Halifax when they tried to pull her from the vehicle.

Her glasses were broken and she suffered swelling and scratches to her face.

The woman went into the supermarket to seek help but the trio returned and there was a further altercation inside the store.

Anyone with information about the attack at 3.40pm on Monday, August 1 is being urged to get in touch with police.
