A MAN has appeared before magistrates after police caught him urinating in the street.
Danny Melia, 26, of Maurice Avenue, Brighouse, was spotted by police on patrol at 12.45am on January 28.
Calderdale Magistrates Court heard that officers saw him urinating against a wall, on Powell Street, Halifax, before he staggered away with his trousers still down.
He proceeded to urinate as he walked down the street at which point officers approached him.
The court heard that he was so durnk they couldn’t get any sense out of him.
Melia admitted breaching the peace and magistrates ordered that he bound over in the sum of £200 for 12 months.
