Bradford man dies in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford early today. (Sat)

At about 12:30am a Volkswagen Passat collided with a tree at Queen’s Road, Undercliffe.

The driver, a 26-year-old Bradford man, was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later.

He was the sole occupant of the vehicle which had been travelling in the direction of King’s Road when the collision occurred 50 metres south of the A6176 Bolton Road.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle in the moments leading up to it is asked to contact the Western Area Roads Policing Unit via 101.
