The brother of moors murder victim Keith Bennett has launched a petition calling for a new search of an area where he believed his brother could be buried.

Alan Bennett claims to have identified an area around as wide as two football pitches on Saddleworth Moor which he believes needs to be looked at.
His brother disappeared 48 years ago, aged 12, but his family have never been able to lay him to rest.
He was one of five children murdered by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley between 1963 and 1965. In 2003, the search for Keith was resumed but without success.
Alan said: “The other victims have all been given proper funerals and their families are able to visit the resting places they chose for them. My family is yet to be given this opportunity and to allow a proper grieving process to begin.”
His petition is online at wwww.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/40262.
