Burglaries on the rise in Halifax

Calderdale police officers are warning residents in Halifax to be vigilant as following a rise in the number of burglaries.

The advice comes after an increase in the Warley and Pellon.

Officers are advising residents to lock doors and windows and to keep all valuables out of sight including car keys.

Any suspicious activity in the area can be reported by calling 101 number unless the incident taking place is an emergency then call 999.
