The following cases were heard at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court:

Deborah Grundy, 37, of Woodside Road, Boothtown, Halifax, was fined £400 and ordered to pay 390 costs and £40 victim surcharge for watching a TV without a licence.

Amanda Rathmell, 44, of Backhold Drive, Siddal, Halifax, was fined £500 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £50 victim surcharge for watching a TV without a licence.

Michelle Smith, 35, of Langdales, Sowerby Bridge, was fined £300 and ordered to pay 390 costs and £30 victim surcharge for watching a TV without a licence.

Mark Shuttlewood, 41, of Huddersfield Road, Halifax, was ordered to undergo a six-month drug rehabilitation course and pay £60 victim surcharge for theft of electrical and beauty items valued £105 belonging to B&M Stores.

Paramjit Dhada, 50, of Garden Road, Waring Green, Brighouse, was fined £250 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge for assault a police officer.

Leah Joanne Gillespie, 21, of Denfield Crescent, Ovenden, Halifax, was fined £85 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for disorderly behaviour.

Christopher Ian Rose, 24, of Denfield Crescent, Ovenden, Halifax, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for disorderly behaviour.

Saeed Ahmed Raja, 43, of Harrow Street, Pellon, Halifax, was disqualified from driving, ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid community work, pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge for failing to take a breathalyser test.

Danielle Rachel Hatto, 27, of Pellon Lane, Halifax, was disqualified from driving and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge for drink driving.

Caroline Beverley Justice, 36, of Albert View, Pellon, Halifax, was ordered to undergo a nine-month drug rehabilitation course, ordered not to enter Rawson Place, Sowerby Bridge and ordered to pay £150 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs for theft of items belonging to another, valued £150.

Neil Adam Greenwood, 26, of West Parade, Halifax, was given a 16-week curfew and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge for the theft of roast beef joints valued £37.40 belonging to Morrisons, Elland.

Roman Konecny, 37, of Gerrard Street, Halifax, was fined £85 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for the theft of groceries valued £204.69 belonging to Asda, Halifax.

Andrew Michael Millios, 33, of Queen Victoria Crescent, Northowram, Halifax, was jailed for four-week for theft of 30 doormats valued £359.70 belonging to Dunelm Mills, and five plants valued £118.95 belonging to Coley Garden Centre.

Shaun Chino Maloney, 23, of Club Houses, Keighley Road, Halifax, was issued with an anti-social behaviour order for breach of an anti-social behaviour order.

Stephen Merryweather, 19, of Whirlaw Avenue, Todmorden, was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid community work for failing to comply with a previous community order.

Andrew James Rowell, 22, of Burnley Road, Cornholme, Todmorden, was ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid community work and was issued with a restraining order for criminal damage of items belonging to another valued £535.
