The following cases were heard at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court:

Vicky Charlesworth, 30, of Ashfield Drive, Ovenden, Halifax, was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community work and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £310 costs and £60 victim surcharge for assault.

Louise Coleman, 36, of Ashfield Drive, Ovenden, Halifax, was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community work and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £310 costs and £60 victim surcharge for assault.

David Round, 34, of Whinney Hill Park, Brighouse, was given a six-week curfew and ordered to pay £16.99 compensation for theft of wine valued £16.99 belonging to Sainsbury’s, Mytholmroyd, and for assault.

Paramjit Dhada, 50, of Garden Road, Waring Green, Brighouse, was fined £250 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge for assault.

Leah Joanne Gilespie, 21, of Denfield Crescent, Ovenden, Halifax, was fined £85 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for threatening behaviour.

Christopher Ian Rose, 24, of Denfield Crescent, Ovenden, Halifax, was fined £35 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for disorderly behaviour.

Saeed Ahmed Raja, 43, of Harrow Street, Halifax, was ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid community work and ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge for failing to take a breathalyser test.

Danielle Rachel Hatto, 27, of Pellon Lane, Halifax, was disqualified from driving and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge for drink driving.

Caroline Beverley Justice, 36, of Albert View, Halifax, was ordered to undergo a nine-month drug rehabilitation course and pay £150 compensation, £40 costs and £60 victim surcharge for theft of cash and items valued £150 belonging to another.

Jamie Shaw, 35, of Dodge Holme Road, Halifax, was fined £265 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £27 victim surcharge for watching a TV without a licence.

Julia Wardell, 33, of Old Farm Way, Brighouse, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £20 victim surcharge for watching a TV without a licence.

John Morris Tretton, 53, of Wakefield Road, Sowerby Bridge, was given a four-week curfew and ordered to pay £33.95 compensation and £45 costs for consuming food and drink with the intention of not paying.

Kieron Cassidy, 27, of Ovenden Way, Ovenden, Halifax, was given a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for nine-months for failing to comply with a court community order.

John Morris Tretton, 53, of Wakefield Road, Sowerby Bridge, was given a four-week curfew and ordered to pay £14.75 compensation for consuming food and drink with the intention of not paying.

Ilwan Tariq, 34, of Crossley Gardens, Halifax, was fined £110 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for driving without insurance.
