Christopher Danby, (30), of West Street, Shelf, 10 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, disqualified from owning, keeping or participating in keeping animals for five years, £1,356.24 costs and £80 victim surcharge for causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.

Richard Paniczew, (35), of Mixenden Court, Halifax, four week curfew and £38 compensation for theft.

Lynda Sharpe, (58), of Clare Street, Halifax, two year conditional discharge and £85 costs for failing to notify Calderdale Council of a change of circumstances which would have affected her council tax benefit and a two year conditional discharge for failing to notify Calderdale Council of a change of circumstances which would have affected her housing benefit.

Joshua McQueeny, (21), of Nest Estate, Hebden Bridge, £40 fine and £30 victim surcharge for using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
