Police searching for missing woman ask: ‘Did you see Halifax murder suspect or his car?’
Adrian Muir, 50, from Calder Terrace, Copley, has been accused of the murder of Pamela Jackson, from Chester-le-Street in County Durham.
She has not been seen Saturday, March 2.
Detectives have released a photo of Muir’s car - a silver Kia Cee’d registration KA07 AVW - and are asking anyone who has seen it in Halifax to get in touch.
Chief Inspector Elaine Taylor said: “We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who might have information regarding the movements of this vehicle between March 1 and March 8.
“As the investigation continues we are becoming increasingly worried that Pamela has come to significant harm.
“It is now more than two weeks since anyone has seen her and her bank and social media accounts remain untouched.”
They also want to hear from anyone who saw Muir at around the time Pamela disappeared.
Officers from County Durham have been working with officers in Calderdale as part of the investigation.
They say they have been investigating several areas of interest, including an area near Green Withens Reservoir at Rishworth.
Anyone who can help police is being asked to call CrimeStoppers, where information can be passed on anonymously, on 0800 555111.
Pamela was reported missing by her son, Joe, on Thursday, March 7.
Police searches for her have included in the River Wear in Chester-le-Street .
As well as Joe, Pamela has sons Andrew, 35, and Christopher, 27, and is a grandmother to four.
Originally from Newcastle she has lived in Chester-le-Street for the last 12 years.
A nationwide alert has also been set up so that every force has her details and photograph.
