A man who was banned from driving by Calderdale Magistrates’ yesterday (Wednesday) was spotted by police driving his car minutes after leaving court.

The man appeared at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court after being caught driving at 100 miles per hour in a 50 miles per hour zone in Bradford. He was banned from driving for 28 days and given a fine in excess of £1,000.

But six minutes after leaving the dock, the man was spotted driving.

Two police officers, who had also just left the Magistrates’ Court, seized his car and reported him for the further motoring offences.
