A MAN involved in the taxi accident that killed teenager Lisa Saville has been fined for possession of drugs.

Calderdale Magistrates’ Court heard that police attended the scene of the incident on March 4 where Daniel Briggs, 25, from Wheatley, had been a passenger.

Police said his demeanour changed on the way to the station and he became uncooperative and refused to give a witness statement.

As a result police arrested him on suspicion of manslaughter. No charges were ever brought against him but police did find a bag of the class B drug m-cat.

He was fined £130.
