Drugs arrests in Halifax and Brighouse

Two people were arrested after a suspected drugs farm was uncovered in Halifax.

Officers seized suspected cannabis plants and growing equipment from a building on Undercliffe Terrace in Savile Park after being called at 9.30am on Saturday.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis, possessing cannabis with intent to supply and abstracting electricity. A 29-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and abstracting electricity.

Meanwhile Police in Brighouse arrested two people from a building on Rogerson Square last Monday after reports of a strong smell of cannabis. The arrested pair were released on bail.
