Drugs raid in Halifax unearths 42 cannabis plants

Police unearthed a cannabis farm during a drugs raid in Halifax yesterday (Tuesday).

The raid, which started at 11.28am, has been carried out at an address in Dyson Road. No one has so far been arrested.

Police, who are still at the scene, say they have found 42 cannabis plants and a large quantity of harvested cannabis bush.

PC Mark Butterfield, of Halifax Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Officers conducting enquiries at an address in Dyson Road, Halifax, at around 11.30am yesterday (Tuesday) discovered a cannabis farm consisting of 23 plants. A large quantity of harvested cannabis bush was also found inside the property. At this stage no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
