Police have released an e-fit of a man they are looking for after a sex attack in Leeds on Christmas Day.

The assault happened between 6.20pm and 6.40pm while a 19-year-old woman was walking along Chaucer Avenue in Pudsey, near the junction with Kent Road.

A man grabbed her bottom. She slapped his hand away and the man ran off.

He was described as white, about 5ft 8ins tall, aged in his late 30s to early 40s, with crew cut dark hair and dark bushy eyebrows.

He was wearing a black, waist-length padded coat and dark denim jeans.

Police believe the incident is thought to be linked to previous reports of indecent exposure which happened near by.

A similarly-described man indecently exposed himself to a schoolgirl as she walked through a ginnel that runs alongside Oakwood Gardens off New Street at about 11.17am on November 30, and a 13-year-old girl in a ginnel that runs between South Parade and New Street at about 3.15pm on October 5.

On the first of those occasions he was described as wearing sunglasses that looked like cycling glasses, as shown in the efit.

Anyone who recognises the description or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact PC Sally Johnson via 101 or call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
