Detectives are looking for a man who was indecently exposing himself in Rastrick yesterday.

The flasher was reported in Slade Lane yesterday afternoon.

Police say they are keeping an open mind as to whether the incident is linked to a sexual assault on a teenage girl in Rastrick the day before.

They are still appealing for witnesses to the assault, which happened on Chapel Croft at around 7am.

A man ran up behind the 14-year-old victim and attacked her.

She fought back and screamed for help, and the man made off towards Crowtrees Lane.

He is described as white, aged in his late 30s, slim and between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall.

He had blonde hair and sideburns down to his chin.

He was wearing jeans and a brown sweater

Anyone who may have information about either incident is asked to call Detective Sergeant Terry O’Keeffe in Calderdale CID on 01422 337085 or via 101.

Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
