A 13-year-old girl had to be taken to hospital after being bitten by a dog in Elland.
Police are trying to find the ainimal and it’s owners after the attack last Saturday.
The girl was on a square of grass between James Street and Albion Street at approximately 12.40pm when the dog bit the girl’s arm and ripped her coat.
The dog is described as having white fur “that is quite dirty”, is approximately 1.5ft tall with upright ears and a long bushy tail.
Police say it thought to look similar to a Japanese Akita breed or a Husky.
