A WATCH worth over £10,000 is among a haul of goods found stuffed inside a pillow case and left in a garden.

Police are trying to find the owner of the Patek Phillippe watch, which has a leather strap, and other property discovered in Upper Brockholes, off Keighley Road in Ovenden, Halifax.

They include another watch, also thought to be valuable, and a range of jewellery which were inside a jewellery box handed into officers.

Detective Sergeant Terry O’Keeffe, from Calderdale CID, said: “We are asking if anyone has lost such items to come forward with the serial numbers to reclaim their property.

“The watches are thought to be high value items which may not have been worn every day and the owner may not yet have realised they are missing.”

Anyone who has any information about the goods, which were found on June 12, is asked to call Calderdale CID on 0845 6060606 or CrimeStoppers, where information can be passed on anoynmously, on 0800 55111.
