DETECTIVES are urging people to lock-up or risk becoming victims of a break-in.
Officers in Calderdale say there are some criminals who will try every car door handle until they find one unlocked.
Meanwhile in Triangle, there have been two attempted house break-ins.
Doors were damaged at homes on Monday night and four days before.
Police say they usually see an increase in sneak-in burglaries throughout the spring and summer months. The peak is usually in June.
They are asking people to keep their house and car windows and doors locked at all times and keep valuables out of view.
Anyone who notices anyone acting suspiciously should call police via 101.
