A 44-year-old Rastrick man has appeared in court over allegations that he misled elderly householders about a council tax re-evaluation scheme.
Jack Henry, of Dewsbury Road, faces a series of charges contrary to the Consumer Protection From Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
Henry’s lawyer indicated that he would be pleading not guilty to all the charges and a trial date was fixed for January 3 next year.
Following the hearing at Bradford Crown Court Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC granted Henry bail with a condition that he must not contact directly or indirectly any of the prosecution witnesses.
