Man arrested after mugging in Halifax yesterday

POLICE investigating a mugging in Halifax in the early hours of yesterday have arrested a man.

The 19-year-old is being questioned and inquiries are continuing.

The robbery happened at 4am yesterday on Lombard Street in King Cross.

The 25-year-old victim suffered a fractured eye socket in the attack and his mobile phone was stolen.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who has information that might help their investigation.
