A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a poppy collection box in Halifax.

The alleged incident happened at the Pickin Chickin shop in King Cross Road, Halifax on Tuesday November 10.

The 36-year-old man from Halifax has been arrested on suspicion of the theft and remains in custody at this time.
