Man followed victim through Leeds train while touching himself

Police are looking for this man after a man followed a woman through a carraige while committing an indecent act on a train to Leeds.

The incident happened on the service from Manchester Piccadilly between 9pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday, March 30.

PC John Hill, of British Transport Police, said: “A man boarded the service at Huddersfield and sat across from the victim, a 46-year old woman from Barnsley.

“He then opened his trousers, exposed himself and then performed an indecent act whilst watching the victim.

“The victim moved carriages to get away from the man but he followed her and continued to touch himself.”

The man left the train at Leeds.

PC Hill added: “Understandably this was an upsetting experience for the victim. We take incidents such as these very seriously and will do all we can to find the man involved. If you recognise the man pictured please come forward and contact us.”
