A man broke his back after coming off a balcony in Halifax.
He was allegedly assaulted and pushed from the first floor balcony on West Parade, near the town centre.
They were called to reports of an injured man at 11pm last Wednesday.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail pending further inquiries.
