Masked armed robbers burst in to a Halifax bookmakers and threatened staff with a hammer before escaping with cash.
Police have put out a witness appeal following the incident at the Ladbrokes betting shop on Ovenden Road at 8pm on Saturday, August 30.
Two men - one armed with a hammer - went into the store and demanded cash. They escaped with a quantity of money.
Police have been studying CCTV footage of the incident over the weekend and have now issued a witness appeal.
Detective Inspector Gary Stephenson, of Calderdale CID, said: “I’m looking fir anybody who might have seen anything out of the ordinary in the area at that time to get in touch,”
Nobody was injured during the incident.
