Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Bradford.

At about 9.15pm on Tuesday 25 March, a 69-year-old man was walking home towards Great Horton from Manchester Road.

As he walked along Park Lane towards St Luke’s Hospital, he was pushed to the ground.

A small amount of cash and mobile phone were taken from the victim, who later received hospital treatment for a dislocated shoulder and grazes to his face.

Detective Inspector Richard Partis, of Bradford District CID, said:

“The victim was understandably shaken by the attack and we are appealing to anyone who might have seen people acting suspiciously in the area around that time.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
