Police appeal after brawl in Huddersfield pub beer garden

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a fight in Huddersfield yesterday morning.

The brawl broke out in the beer garden Warehouse pub on Zetland Street at around 1am and involved around eight men and women.

During the fight, two men seperated from the group. One, a 27-year old, was hit with a glass and knocked to the floor before being further assaulted until his assailant was pulled away by witnesses.

As a result of the attack, the 27-year old was taken to hospital and detained overnight.

The suspect was described as being a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall and in his 20s, 30s or 40s. He had short blonde hair, was of large build and was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue pattern on the front and blue jeans.
