Police appeal for witnesses to attempted sexual assault in Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted sexual assault on Hough Top, Pudsey, Leeds that was committed in the early hours of Saturday (March 14).

The incident happened at around 4am as the victim was walking on Hough Top, with its junction with Harley Gardens where she was subjected to an attempted sexual assault.

Though she was pushed to the floor, she managed to fight the offender off and managed to escape.

The offender is described as an Asian male, 5ft #8” tall, late 20’s, wavy hair, wearing a white polo shirt.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fountain of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said:

“Thankfully the woman managed to escape from what must have been a very traumatic ordeal for her. I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and tell us what happened.”
