POLICE investigating two armed raids at the same jewellers in eight days went back to the store in an attempt to jog shoppers’ memories.

Officers were outside V Niemantas in Commercial Street, Brighouse, asking shoppers if they had been in the area when the robberies happened,

In the first raid, at 9.45am on Friday, August 12, three men with sledgehammers smashed the windows before fleeing with jewellery in a silver Audi.

The car was found later that day in Lane Head Court, Brighouse.

They escaped with a third man in a black Vauxhall Corsa later found in Harley Street, Rastrick.
