Police and Crime Commissioner Mark Burns-Williams and the West Yorkshire Chief Constable Mark Gilmore are in Calderdale today on a fact-finding tour.
Mr Burns-Williams recently published the regional Police and Crime Plan 2013-18 and following that priorities for action in Calderdale were identified.
They include reducing anti-social behaviour and offending.
The top-level delegation met with agencies working to keep people away from the courts and learn about good practice.
Mr Burns-Williams is pictured during a tour of the North Halifax Skills Centre, Club Lane, Ovenden, where he learned about its work with the West Yorkshire Youth Offending Team.
