Mounted police are controlling their patrols in Halifax.
Officers from the West Yorkshire Police team have been in Halifax town centre and Ovenden since last week.
Today mounted officers in Ovenden arrested a man on suspicion of being an illegal immigrant.
They have also been in People’s Park and around Halifax Minster.
