Officers in Leeds are looking for a sex attacker who looks “as young as 12” after a series of assaults.

There were four attacks between October 13 and December 8 near steps that lead from St Mark’s Road to North West Road in the Little London area.

Every incident has been in the early evening on a Saturday and has involved a white male described as “very young looking”, possibly as young as 12.

On each occasion, the suspect has approached from behind and grabbed the victims before sexually assaulting them.

The victims - all aged in their 20s - have struggled free and the male has run off.

He is described as white, very thin, with short brown hair, aged between 12 and 20 and said to be very young looking.

He usually wears jeans and a black jacket and carries a shoulder bag.

It is believed the male is either local to the area or has a reason to be in the area on a Saturday evening.

The incidents happened on October 13, November 17, and two on December 8.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents or who has any information that could assist the investigation. Officers also want to hear from anyone who may have been victim of a similar incident in the area but has not report it to the police.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective Constable Kate Lonsdale on 0113 241 4883 or via 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
