Police are appealing for help finding a man known to have connections to Mixenden in Halifax who has breached his probation terms and is being sent back to prison.
They say Peter Firth, 32, who was orginially jailed for burglary offences, has breached the conditions of his prison licence and is being recalled to jail.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “He still remains outstanding and it is known to have connections to Bradford and the Mixenden area of Halifax
“We have undertaken numerous inquiries to locate him and officers are fully briefed as to their descriptions.
“Members of the public, however, can assist in our efforts to return this man to jail and I would call on anyone who has seen him or has information, to contact us immediately.
“You can ring the non-emergency number 101 or CrimeStoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.
“He has previously been sentenced to burglary offences. If he is prepared to ignore the terms of his probation, then he must be removed from our streets and away from the potential of further crime.”
