Police officers are appealing for anyone with information over antiques stolen in a burglary to get in touch.

The house on Huddersfield Road, Brighouse, was targeted between October 21 and October 24.

A solid silver Georgian candlestick was stolen plus an 1830 oil painting of a black cat and a statue of the Queen.

Also snatched by the burglars was an etching of an old man in pen by Jacob Kramer and a large painting of an Italian scene of water and boats by T M Richardson.

Two watercolours in gold frames and a blue jewellery box with painted lid were also swiped.

If you have any information or are offered the items for sale contact Sgt Terry O’Keeffe of Calderdale CID on 337029.
