Probe into Calderdale online con that could have spread across country

DETECTIVES in Calderdale are investigating an internet con that could have netted victimes across the country.

Officers want to speak to anyone who has tried to buy a vehicle from BCAV Solutions Ltd - who were based in Mytholmroyd.

They believe there could be people from all over England who paid money but never got their vehicle.

The company was declared bankrupt in 2011 and, following a long and protracted investigation, two people connected to it have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to defraud.

The two men - a 35-year-old from Littleborough and a 42-year-old from Rochdale will appear before Calderdale Magistrates next week.

Anyone who believes they have been a victim of this company should contact Detective Sergeant Ross Wadsworth at Calderdale CID via 101.
