Public concerns result in three arrests in Halifax

Calderdale Police have been responding to the concerns of local people as three arrests were made in Halifax last night (Friday).

At 11:40pm, officers executed a warrant at the Hill View Hotel at Kings Cross, known locally as the Allan Ford.

Nearby residents had reported issues relating to underage drinking and drugs related offences.

A 15-year-old male was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs.

A 40-year-old-man and a 42-year-old man were also arrested in connection with immigration offences. All three males remain in custody.

Detective Inspector Craig Lord of Halifax CID said:“We are committed to dealing with the priorities of our communities and this latest warrant was in direct response to that.

“The police are working extremely closely with partners in tackling these types of issues and we will now be considering any potential licensing breaches.
