Robbery at Huddersfield petrol station

Detectives are appealing for wtinesses to a robbery at Lockwood Filling Station on Lockwood Road in Huddersfield.

A man went into the garage at 8.45pm on Sunday, threatened the man working there and demanded cash.

The staff member said he could not open the till and the suspect ran off with some cigarettes from a nearby display.

The suspect is described as white and skinny, wearing a navy blue Adidas hooded top with the hood up, a Union Jack scarf around his face, light jeans, black trainers and black gloves.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Nicola Holdsworth at the Kirklees Robbery Team via 101.
