Police are appealing for witnesses after a schoolboy was robbed of his shoes and bag in Halifax.

The robbery happened in Beechwood Park between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Monday, October 13. The offender is believed to have run down Brickfield Lane towards Shay Lane.

The attacker is described as white and between 5 ft 8 ins and 5 ft 9 ins tall.

Det Cons Louise Halliwell, of Calderdale CID, said: “This incident happened around school closing time when there would have been a lot of people in the area. If anyone saw anyone behaving suspiciously or believes they may have seen the suspect running from the scene then I would urge them to call Calderdale CID on 101.”
