Teen mugged by two men in Huddersfield

A 19-year-old man was mugged by two men who implied they had a knife on waste ground in Huddersfield last night.

The teenager was at the back of Row Street in Crossland Moor at 8.15pm when he was approached by the men who demanded he hand over his belongings.

One of the men threatened the 19-year-old and intimated he had a knife.

The frightened victim handed over property including a mobile phone, fabric wallet and cash, which the attackers took below fleeing.

One of the men was described as Asian, in his early 20s, over 6ft tall, thin and clean-shaven, wearing a black hooded jacket with dark bottoms and cheap white trainers.

The other was described as Asian, of a similar build and height to the other man and wearing a dark top.

Anyone who saw the mugging or has information should contact Detective Constable icola Holdsworth at the Kirklees Robbery Team on 101.
