Teen with knife tried to mug man in Huddersfield

Detectives are looking for a teenager armed with a knife who tried to mug a man in Huddersfield.

The 31-year-old victim was stood on Priory Place at 5.55pm on Wednesday when he was approached by the teenager who was holding a small knife and demanded his bag.

The victim refused to hand it over and told the suspect to go away.

The teenager ran away along a small pathway.

The culprit is described as a teenager of mixed race, aged between 16 and 17 and around 5ft 4ins tall, wearing a black or blue quilted-style Superdry jacket and dark bottoms.
