A gang of thieves used a wheelie bin to steal 11 computers from Trinity Academy in Halifax.

The break-in happened between 10.30pm and 11pm on Wednesday when 11 Apple iMacs, worth £16,000, were stolen.

The three thieves loaded the computers into the wheelie bin.

The computers are understood to have contained valuable work by the pupils.

Anyone with information that might help with the police’s investigation into the burglary should call Detective Sergeant Terry O’Keeffe in Calderdale CID on 01422 337085 or via 101.

Information can also be passed on anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.
