Three arrested after teenage boy punched and robbed of his iPod in Halifax town centre

Detectives have arrested three people after a 14-year-old boy was punched in the face and robbed of his iPhone.

The victim was walking alone in Clare Road in Halifax town centre on Saturday at 2.05pm when he was asked for the time.

As he took out his iPod, one of the suspects punched him and then fled with two other people with the boy’s iPod.

Three people - two aged 16 and one aged 13 - have been arrested following the incident.

They are currently on police bail pending further inquiries.
