Town council’s £20k to fund extra PCSOs

Todmorden Town Council will pay more than £20,000 to keep two additional police community support officers (PCSOs) on the beat.

Councillors have agreed to renew the partnership with West Yorkshire Police Authority for another year. Chris Hardern, Chief Superintendent Divisional Commander for Calderdale Police, said: “Police community support officers play an important part in the work we do in our local communities and I am delighted Todmorden Town Council have agreed to continue to fund two officers for the next year.”
