A 54-year-old woman was charged with being drunk and disorderly in Halifax town centre.
On December 21, at around 2am police were called to The Sportsman, Crown Street.
Janet Goodman, of Towngate, Sowerby Bridge, swore at police and was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
Goodman told Magistrates’ she was sorry for coming before the court again for this offence.
She said: “I’ve lost my son, I can’t help drinking.”
Goodman was fined £50 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
