Woman charged with defrauding a 69-year-old neighbour

A woman charged with defrauding a 69-year-old neighbour appeared at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court.

Kirsty Collins, 28, of Dunkirk Street, King Cross, Halifax, is charged with five counts of cheque fraud with intention to make a false gain of £2,000 from a neighbouring pensioner between January and April, this year.

The defendant did not enter a plea and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on September 3.
