Woman stole coffee

A woman stole nine jars of coffee from a Halifax bargain store, a court was told.

Cheryl Ann Thompson of Sunderland Street, Pellon, Halifax, was caught snatching £27.99 worth of the Nescafe coffee from the B&M store on Shay Syke, Calderdale Magistrates heard.

The offence is alleged to have taken place on April 26. Thompson, 37, indicated a guilty plea and was remanded in custody for sentencing on May 28.
